Established in March 2000, Sugar & Spice is a family-run shop specialising in Chocolates and Gift Confectionery.
We import handmade chocolates from several Belgian chocolate houses along with classic favourites such as Parisian Cremes from James at The Isle of Arran Chocolate Factory. Our gift confectionery selection is second to none and includes Niederegger Marzipan made in Lubeck, Germany (one of the finest marzipans you'll ever taste) along with Italian Cuba Venchi chocolate cigars made with luxury gianduja chocolate and Piedmont Hazelnuts.
There are many old fashioned favourites too such as Cola Cubes, Soor Plooms and Dolly Mixtures along with traditional Scottish sweets such as Lucky Tatties, Edinburgh Rock and Coconut Macaroon. We even have a selection of whisky gift packs, Scottish fruit wines from the Cairn o' Mohr Winery and unusual liqueurs.
In March 2007 the shop had a partial refit in order to accommodate larger facilities for ice cream production and Geraldo's luxury ice cream is now completely manufactured on site. There are 16 flavours to choose from at any one time with each one made using the finest of natural ingredients.

Opening Times:
The shop is open 7 days throughout the year and is only closed on Christmas Day and New Year's Day. There is ample car parking close by at the promenade car park.
January to Easter:
Monday to Saturday - 10am to 5pm
Sunday - 11am to 5pm
Easter to Christmas:
Monday to Saturday - 10am to 9pm
Sunday - 11am to 9pm
During the main summer season we are often open much later until 10 or 11pm.
