Delivery Information & Charges:

UK Mainland - £4.95

Northern Ireland - £8.50

International delivery charges are based on the weight of the items you wish to order and the type of delivery service required and are charged at the actual amount charged to us over and above our standard delivery charge.  Please note that it is not advisable to send chocolate products to warmer countries unless you are willing to pay for express delivery/increased insurance cover.  Please email us for a quotation.

For UK deliveries please assist us by providing a contact telephone number when entering your delivery address details as this is a requirement of Interparcel in order to arrange delivery to you.

Despatch Times:

  • Most orders are despatched from our shop in Largs via Royal Mail 2nd class post for items under 2kg. The Interparcel Economy service is delivered by UPS and is used for heavier items only (usually parcels weighing 2kg or more).
  • Delivery is within 1-2 working days from processing of payment throughout most of the UK mainland and 2-5 days to Republic of Ireland however we do not despatch goods over the weekend with the exception of busier periods i.e. Christmas and Easter.
  • Despatch normally takes place within 12-24 hours of payment being processed except during busier periods i.e. Mother's Day, Easter, Christmas Bank Holidays etc.  Please allow an extra couple of days if you need your order for a special date.
  • Any orders that will exceed 28 days to fulfil the Customer will be notified by telephone or email and will be offered the option of order cancellation and a refund of payment. Any products not available at the time of ordering will be despatched as soon as possible.
  • Sugar & Spice cannot be held responsible for delays in the delivery caused by our suppliers or their transport providers.
  • If a product is not in stock we will back order it for you; you will be emailed or telephoned with the option to cancel your order if you would rather not wait.
  • This does not affect your statutory rights as a customer. We endeavour to stock every item shown on our website at all times.

Acceptance of Goods:

  • If the goods are damaged, please sign to accept but note that the goods are damaged.
  • If the goods are damaged, please keep the packaging as this will assist us in making any claims against the courier company or Royal Mail.
  • The Customer shall inspect the goods within a reasonable time period after delivery and shall be deemed to have accepted the goods, unless, within a reasonable time period after their delivery, the Customer notifies Sugar & Spice that the goods are faulty.
  • If no notification is received within 7 days of despatch date, Sugar & Spice will consider the products being as described, of satisfactory quality and therefore reserve the right not to accept any rejection of goods at a later date.

Returns / Refund Policy:

  • If the goods are rejected within the timescale as defined above, the Customer shall comply with the returns procedure as stated below. We will not accept any returned goods should the returns procedure not be followed.
  • The Customer must contact Sugar & Spice by either telephone or email to obtain a returns authorisation. Please quote your Worldpay Transaction ID number in all correspondence.
  • A returns code will be issued and must be referred to in all correspondence. This code must also be clearly identifiable inside any return packages.
  • The Customer must then return the package to Sugar & Spice and Sugar & Spice will arrange for the Customer to be reimbursed accordingly. Any postage charges incurred by the Customer will not be reimbursed where goods are not damaged or faulty.
  • In cases where the goods are rejected within the specified time, the Customer is entitled to a full refund or replacement. The faulty or damaged products must be returned to Sugar & Spice before the refund or replacement can be issued.
  • Refund is within 30 days of cancellation.


  • Cancellations are only accepted if the Customer complies with Sugar & Spice's cancellation procedure and before any goods have been despatched.
  • If the order has been despatched prior to cancellation, the returns procedure as defined above will apply. If the procedure is not followed the order will be considered valid and the Customer will remain liable for the full payment.
  • Cancellations can be made either by telephone or by e-mail directly with Sugar & Spice. Please remember, order despatch normally takes place within 24 hours.


  • These terms and conditions are governed and shall be interpreted in accordance with UK law.
